Unbelievably hyped to announce that the legendary Shrimper Records is releasing a CASSETTE ONLY run of my new album, PULLING THE WOOL OVER MY EYES. I have dreamt of having a classic Shrimper tape with my name on it, as long as I could remember. The work and ethos Dennis has relentlessly protected and put into the world was and is massively formative to Micah and me. Huge thanks to Dennis for allowing me to dawn the Shrimper archive.
Micah and I started recording this LP over a year ago, and we couldn’t be more proud of what we’ve been able to make. Eternally grateful to Micah for always being my ride or die. The process of learning how to write these songs started close to 4 years ago. Thanks to Lonna for co-writing a bunch of the songs with me, and teaching me how to find my voice and perspective. BIG thanks to Seth, Janie, Lonna, Kraz, and my bros Aaron and Josh for contributing time/instrumentation/vocals. Also, a huge thank you to everyone that has played in live lineups over the past 4 years. These recordings are a culmination of years of experimentation with so many beautiful friends that I love dearly.
Tapes are exclusively available via Revolver/Midheaven and Grapefruit Records (SOLD OUT). If you happen to purchase the tape and want digital files, I can send you a private Dropbox link to download from. There are no plans for digital distribution of the album at this time.
